Dr. Gowman is a graduate of the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at Botsford General Hospital in 1996. Dr. Gowman is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and peri-operative TEE. He is a level III echocardiographer with expertise in the interpretation and performance of transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography. Dr. Gowman is certified and trained in cardiac CT angiography. He is a registered physician for vascular interpretation. He is the Medical Director of the accredited Echo, Vascular and Nuclear Labs for Cardiovascular Clinical Associates.
