Dr. Susser graduated from Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital. He completed his residency at Zeiger Osteopathic Hospital. He was a research associate in the Cardiology Department at the University of Michigan from 1969-70. Dr. Susser was chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at Botsford General Hospital for 40 years. He is a clinical professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a member of the board of directors at Botsford General Hospital. As a board certified internist and cardiologist, Dr. Susser enjoys dealing with the whole person developing highly individualized treatment programs.
